System notes

Storage

• Supports NVMe M.2 (2280) drive - installed Hynix P31 Gold 500GB
• eMMC is not removable, but dear God is it slow. SSD recommended/required

IO

• Annoying barrel jack charger; need to find a Type-C converter
  • ~30W charger
  • cablecc USB-C to DC 4.0x1.3mm (18-20V) - it works, but the connector is bit too large.
• Type-C connector is for device only; no charging/display out

Misc

• Trackpad buttons
  • Numpad function doesn’t work in Linux (by default; I haven’t tried)
  • “0” - left click
  • “Enter” - middle click
  • “=” - right click

Working/fixed

• system clock - install and configure ntpd
• sound drivers - install alsa-firmware, sof-firmware, alsa-ucm-conf
  • Still intermittent at times
• battery drain (was severe, even at power-off)

• PrintScreen button not working
