Corne LP friction case

Corne LP friction case

Summary

I had previously used my Corne LP with no plate nor case to keep the board as small as possible for travel. After receiving my 3D printers however, I decided to try my hand at a friction-fit case to replace the peeling electrical tape on the bottom of the board.

Owning the non-hotswap v2 PCB helps keep the case as thin as it is. The absence of hotswap sockets allows the PCB to sit closer to the bottom of the case. The seven supports on the case fit snug in the PCB standoff holes; they are what fit the PCB to the case as there is a slight gap between the outer edge of the PCB and the inner edge of the case.
